Moviesforfree.org is a grass roots non profit organization which gives away free movie libraries to Cancer Treatment Centers, Hospitals and Nursing Homes across the United States.

Patients at Pediatric Oncology Treatment Clinic's; often undergo long hours of cancer therapy. Moviesforfree.org provides patients with favorite movies to watch while spending time in the clinic receiving chemotherapy, blood transfusions and other life saving treatments. The films provide a wonderful distractive therapy; and help pass the time.

Moviesforfree.org also provide these libraries to Senior Citizen centers where they can be viewed in common television viewing areas or distributed like rentals to elderly residents in assisted living apartments.

Moviesforfree.org asks for donations of gently used or new DVD’s of all genres from individuals, video stores, and businesses. People can donate DVD's multiple ways; including through the mail, donation drop bins, and neighborhood donation campaigns. All donations are tax deductible.

Staffed entirely by volunteers donated movies are organized into small DVD libraries.  Moviesforfree.org ships out the movies  as soon as possible based upon the donations on hand.

New or gently used DVD's are always needed to fulfill the many requests for libraries we receive from hospitals and senior citizen homes across the United States.
